Power BI in Nouméa: reports and dashboards
Your figures already exist: in your accounting, your point of sale, your Excel files, your business software. The problem is bringing them together. Every month end, someone copies, pastes and recalculates by hand, and the report arrives after the decision has been made.
Solution IT sets up Power BI to turn that data into up-to-date dashboards, available in a few clicks.
Custom reports and dashboards#
- Sales, revenue and margins
- Accounting and cash flow
- Stock and purchasing
- Activity and indicators specific to your business
Each report is designed with you, from the questions you actually ask, not from a generic template.
Connecting your sources#
- Excel and CSV files
- SQL databases
- Business software, including Quadratus
- Online services and Microsoft 365
When data must first be extracted, cleaned or combined, we build the necessary data flows: that is the role of ETL development. ETL prepares the data, Power BI presents it.
Publishing and sharing#
- Publishing to the Power BI Service
- Automatic data refresh, including from your on-premises servers
- Access rights per person or team: everyone sees what concerns them
- Licensing advice, so you only pay for what is useful
👉 Let’s talk about your indicators: a first conversation shows what your data can already tell you.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Power BI Pro licence?
Not always. Power BI Desktop is free for building reports on a workstation. A Pro licence becomes necessary to publish and share reports with your colleagues in the Power BI Service. It is included in Microsoft 365 E5, but not in the Business plans. We check what you already have before recommending a purchase.
Can Power BI connect to Quadratus or other business software?
Usually, yes: through a direct database connection, automated exports or an intermediate data flow. The method depends on the software and where it is hosted. We review your sources before proposing the most reliable solution to maintain over time.
Does my data stay with me?
Your sources stay where they are. When a report is published to the Power BI Service, the data it displays is hosted in the Microsoft cloud, with the access rights you define. If some data must not leave your infrastructure, we take that into account from the design stage.
